Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE: ADM)
Archer Daniels is down 11.64% in premarket trading after announcing a change in leadership. ADM appointed Ismael Roig as Chief Financial Officer. The move came after the company’s board decided to place the current CFO, Vikram Luthar, on administrative leave and cut its earnings pending an investigation into the agricultural trading giant’s accounting practices.
Nio, Inc. (Nasdaq: NIO)
Nio is down 3.63% in premarket trading after and dropped 18% overall last week. The EV industry as a whole has been slowing down, according to data from China. The China Passenger Car Association revealed a 21% drop in retail new energy vehicle sales in China between Jan. 1 and Jan. 14.
