The markets have been down -10%, but we’re actually up 10% so far in 2025 in The War Room.
And while we’ve been ringing the register on several tariff-proof plays – sometimes you must acknowledge a company’s potential downside.
Which is why one of the top stocks on my watchlist this week is Docusign (DOCU).
Here’s why I’m actually bearish on this company.
Yesterday, news came out that Donald Trump is now calling Joe Biden’s Presidential pardons “Void & Vacant” because of auto-pen, which is a device that reproduces signatures and is ubiquitous in government and business.
While there is no power to undo a pardon in the Constitution or case law – this could turn out to the next big scandal under Trump.
And if that’s the case – then the entire business model of Docusign is now under attack.
Of course, this may or may not play out as the next big scandal – so position size accordingly.
But I believe it’s a significant enough development that makes Docusign worth paying attention to.
