Woah, Sarepta…

Good Morning Wake-Up Watchlisters! While you’re sipping coffee you’ll see stock futures were down on Friday after a pullback from megcap tech and chip stocks. Nvidia dropped 1.5% in premarket trading, and other chipmakers Broadcom, Super Micro Computer and Qualcomm were also down. Despite the drop, all major Wall Street indexes are on track to close the week higher.

Tech stocks and AI companies have been a major contributor to record market highs in 2024. But the fun could just be getting started. There are still plenty of AI companies that could stand to gain in the near future, which is why Oxford Club Chief Investment Strategist Alexander Green just released his “Magnificent Seven Tech Stocks.” Green believes a $1,000 investment in these 7 stocks could make you a millionaire in less than six years.

Here’s a look at the top-moving stocks this morning.

Sarepta Therapeutics (Nasdaq: SRPT)

Sarepta Therapeutics is up 38.98% in premarket trading after the Food and Drug Administration approved its Duchenne muscular dystrophy gene therapy for all patients age 4 and older. Sarepta is the current leader in Duchenne muscular dystrophy treatment.

Investors often use bullish indicators like FDA approval as a reason to buy a stock, but the truth is there’s a specific way to time trades that result in consistent gains. In The War Room, we use what we call the “Perfect Timing Pattern” to make gains in both bull and bear markets.

Gilead Sciences Inc. (Nasdaq: GILD)

Gilead Sciences is up 5.10% in premarket trading after receiving positive feedback from its latest HIV drug. Its twice-annual shot proved 100% effective in preventing HIV infections in cisgender women.

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: TDY)

Teledyne is up 5.50% in premarket trading after the company revealed its latest unmanned ground vehicle, the SUGV 325. The robot represents a growth opportunity as higher demand for unmanned vehicles in rescue missions for civillians could drive demand. Other companies including Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems also could see improved demand as they both hold strong presence in the unmanned vechicle space.

Those are the biggest stock movers for today.

Happy trading!
