Here’s a look at the top-moving stocks this morning.

Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA)

Tesla is up 11.56% in premarket trading after CEO Elon Musk vowed to launch cheaper vehicles as soon as late this year. The automaker said it’s accelerating new models that will be built on the same manufacturing lines as Tesla’s current lineup and be ready by early 2025. The news renewed optimism among investors after falling vehicle sales led to a 9% drop in revenue for the first 3 months of 2024.

Vertiv Holdings Co. (NYSE: VRT)

Vertiv Holdings is up 17.47% in premarket after reporting strong orders that send shares skyrocketing. It’s a positive development for AI stocks, including NVDA and SMCI. Vertiv earnings jumped 79% to 43 cents per share, easily beating analyst views. Revenue also rose 8% to $1.64 billion, slightly topping estimates. Organic orders also jumped 60%.

The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA)

Wall Street expected a per-share loss of $1.73 and sales of $16.3 billion. This was a win for BA as it dealt with controversy over the production quality of its airplanes, losing more than 30% of its stock since an emergency door plug blew off during an Alaskan Air flight on Jan. 5.
