Dude, I Didn’t Get a Dell!
Good morning Wake-Up Watchlisters! We close out the best month in the market so far this year with high hopes for a continued rally. Historically December has been good to the indexes with the S&P closing higher 75% of the time and this is especially true when there is positive momentum. Black Friday numbers broke records again, the headlines are about rate cuts instead of hikes, and it feels like a ‘soft landing’ could be within reach as we get into the holiday season.
November was one of the best months ever in The War Room, and we locked in three more wins yesterday! There has never been a better time to join the top online trading community.
Here’s a look at the top-moving stocks this morning.
Dell Technologies INC. (NYSE: DELL)
Dell Technologies is down 5.51% in the premarket. The computer company reported earnings Thursday night and despite beating the target on earnings, lagging sales are bringing share prices down. Dell’s Q3 report marked its fifth straight quarter of declining sales compared to previous years.
Our Head Trading Tactician Bryan Bottarelli opened an overnight position on DELL yesterday in The War Room betting on a big move this morning. Looks like he was right again…
Marvell Technologies (Nasdaq: MRVL)
Marvell Technology is down 5.65% in the premarket. Last night the semiconductor company also reported disappointing earnings, 41 cents a share for the October quarter, down 28% year over year earlier. Sales came in at $1.42 billion, down 8%. Despite the lackluster report company leadership has reiterated how confident they are in the profit potential of their AI-related technologies given enough time.
Wouldn’t you know it Bryan called this one too! In the very same trade post, our Head Trading Tactician opened an overnight position yesterday betting on a MRVL move.
That’s two plays you missed in one night. Get in here and wake up to wins!
Elastic N.V. (NYSE: ESTC)
Elastic is up 18.64% in the premarket. You know who didn’t miss on earnings? The data management company Elastic blew analysts’ expectations of 24 cents a share out of the water, reporting 37 cents per share. Leadership credits generative artificial intelligence for the 16% year over year increase in sales as well.
ULTA Beauty Inc. (ULTA)
ULTA Beauty Inc. (ULTA) is up 11.01% in the premarket. Another big earnings winner, shares of the beauty company jumped after beating analysts’ expectations yesterday after the close. Both sales and earnings safely beat predictions and leadership raised guidance for the full fiscal year. The numbers are in, and consumers still like to splurge on the little things, like makeup, that make them happy.
Those are the biggest stock movers for today.
Happy trading!
