United Airlines Holdings is up 7.39% in premarket trading after its latest earnings report. Despite expecting an adjusted loss for the current quarter due to the grounding of its Boeing 737 MAX 9 jets, the company’s strong holiday travel demand and good cost control contributed to its optimistic outlook.United Airlines (UAL) reported $13.63 billion in revenue for the quarter, representing a year-over-year increase of 9.9%.
RTX Corporation (Nasdaq: RTX)
RTX Corporation is up 4.10% in premarket ahead of its latest earnings. The defense and aerospace company reported sales at $19.9 billion, up 10 percent from the previous year. The company also has a backlog of $196 billion, including $118 billion of commercial and $78 billion of defense.
