Good morning Wake-up Watchlisters! While you’re sipping coffee you’ll see stock futures were flat on Wednesday. The indexes suffered deeper losses yesterday as U.S. government bond yields climbed, with the 30-year treasury yield reaching 5% for the first time since 2007. The “pain trade” in bonds was the main reason for the selloff, and many investors believe the era of low interest rates is coming to an end.

It’s understandable to feel crummy when the markets are this low, but the truth is there are ways to generate consistent profits in the markets no matter which direction stocks go. In The War Room last week, our Lead Trading Tactician Bryan Bottarelli finished with a 100% win rate. I know that sounds a too good to be true, but Bryan uses a simple overnight trading strategy he’s perfected over the years to take advantage of specific surges in stock prices.

Here’s a look at the top-moving stocks this morning.

Lithium Americas Corp. (NYSE: LAC)

Lithium Americas is up 9.20% premarket after the company jointly announced the completion of the reorganization of Lithium Americas into two independent publicly traded companies. Starting today, Lithium Argentina Shares and Lithium Americas Shares will commence trading on the TSX and NYSE on a regular-way basis under the ticker symbols “LAAC” and “LAC,” respectively.

Lithium represents an interesting investment opportunity as the world switches over to electric cars. Our Lead Fundamental Tactician Karim Rahemtulla recently mentioned a prominent lithium company in The War Room that could be an attractive buy with lithium prices trading at multi-year lows.

Intel Corporation (Nasdaq: INTC)

Intel Corporation is up 2.10% premarket following the chipmaker’s move to spin-out a key division. Intel said it would separate the Programmable Solutions Group as a standalone business in January. The division makes chips that act as a conduit between Intel’s general purpose semiconductors and those designed for a binary task.

As chips become even more important as the artificial intelligence boom continues, it’s crucial to know what China is up to.

Click here to understand China’s sinister plan to monopolize the chip market and why one U.S. company could surge 525% as a result.

Novavax (Nasdaq: NVAX)

Novavax is up 0.39% premarket after the FDA approved Novavax’s updated COVID-19 vaccine. Novavax expects doses to be available “at thousands of locations” in the coming days. Specifically, the agency signed off on Novavac’s shot for people age 12 and older.

Palantir Technologies (NYSE: PLTR)

Palantir Technologies is up 3.22% premarket as the company emerged as the top pick for a contract to overhaul the UK’s National Health Service. The five-year contract, which may be extended by as long as two years, is worth $480 million. It’s expected to be designed to help the agency analyze medical data, detect patterns and ultimately overhaul its entire system.

Those are the biggest stock movers for today.

Happy trading!
