HashiCorp is up 11.51% in premarket after reports the software company is considering a sale. The company has a market value of $5.3 billion, and its been working with a financial adviser in recent months to gauge interest in potential buyers. Activity with mergers and acquisitions of software companies has picked up globally in 2024, with a 30% increase in deals.
