The Simple Trick to My Latest 300% Gain

What if there were a trade you could make and simply walk away?

You wouldn’t need to stay near your computer… watch ticker symbols from your phone… or even be near a Wi-Fi signal.

Of course, there’s long-term investing. That’s nothing new.

But it won’t make you rich… at least not anytime soon. Even then, there are no guarantees that the market will be up when you need the cash.

That’s why I call it “buy and pray” investing.

It’s also why I created a unique system of my own… that offers all of the upside of short, in-and-out trades while still allowing you the freedom to do whatever you want to do.

And it works…

Just yesterday, I wrote to my subscribers and told them to take three more huge gains.

  • 143% on Veeco Instruments
  • 203% on Black Knight
  • 231% on Square

And those are just the latest in a long string of huge winners (which I actually won an award for).

So what’s the secret?

It’s quite simple… and, best of all, it works equally well for beginners and experienced traders.

Let’s walk through one of my recent recommendations.

If you’re not familiar with my work, I’m a convert to the school of technical analysis. Starting as a wealth manager and coming up through the “traditional” ranks, I was a purebred fundamentals guy.

But now I use a simple system based on Keltner Channels and volume.

Using this stock selection system in mid-December, I determined that shares of Eldorado Resorts (Nasdaq: ERI) were almost certainly set to rise.

Here’s what I told my subscribers:

From a technical standpoint, the company is set to zoom higher.

Shares are doing exactly what so many of our triple-digit winners have done over the last few months. They’re bouncing off their mid-channel trend line. And they are gaining more and more strength with each fresh bounce.

I recommended folks grab some shares… and purchase the company’s March $55 calls.

Why those options, though?

This is key to the whole “walk away” system.

I almost always recommend an options contract that requires the stock to move no more than 10% before having some value.

But with the Eldorado trade, I went with an even more conservative contract.

Shares of the company traded for just $53 when I recommended them… so I went just 4% higher and chose the $55 options.

It’s that simple.

No crazy formulas. No long equations. And no need for a calculator.

That stuff may justify four years in a Ph.D. program… but it won’t do much good in the real world.

By the way, this trade handed us close to 300% gains on half the position.

Keep It Simple

If you’re an experienced options trader, you know determining what strike price to purchase is only half the equation.

The other half is picking the expiration month.

Fortunately, this next trick is even easier.

After years in the trading biz, I know there’s a bit of a sweet spot when it comes to options pricing.

Three months.

That’s it.

Of course there are variables, but if a guy were to spend his whole life buying options that are less than 10% out of the money and expire in three months… well, I suspect he’d be living quite a good life and would have quite a nice boat.

In fact… one of my readers wrote me earlier this month and said he’s made about $175K following our advice. He sent a picture of the new dock he’s building at his house… so he can tie up his new boat!

Nice.

And here’s probably the best part of this strategy.

It’s good for beginners and experienced traders.

Folks new to trading can make their first trades without any confusion or hassle. And folks with some experience can use this tactic exclusively or, my recommendation, they can use it as an overlay to a more robust short-term trading strategy.

Either way works.

I’ve got the notes from subscribers to prove it.

If you want more of my strategy… you’re in luck. I just released it here.

But I have to admit things get a bit scandalous just a few minutes into it. This video could get me in a lot of trouble at home.

Be well,

Andy
