Good morning Wake-up Watchlisters! While you’re sipping coffee you’ll see stock futures edged higher on Monday. The markets logged their best week of 2023 on Friday, as optimism surrounding the end of the Fed’s long series of rate hikes continued. Chair Jerome Powell is expected to speak multiple times this week, and investors will be anticipating more potential good news.

Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA)

Tesla is up 2.04% premarket. The electric vehicle maker’s stock went higher on reports that CEO Elon Musk will be a $26,872 EV at its Berlin factory. It would be the cheapest version of its electrified vehicles, surpassing the Model 3 at $43,000.

Freshpet, Inc. (Nasdaq: FRPT)

Freshpet is up 28.41% premarket after reporting strong third quarter results. Net sales increased to $200.6 million, which was 32.6% higher. The company also posted a net loss of $7.2 million, compared with prior year net loss of $18.4 million. It cited volume gains and higher pricing as a reason for the higher sales numbers.
