These Sectors Are Screaming “BUY ME!”

It seems like a simple adage.

In the stock market, it means something too.

Following the money means looking for growth in revenues.

If revenues are growing, then that is where people are spending money.

Right now, that spot is in travel and tourism.

While certain sectors in the market – like semiconductors, cloud services and media streaming – may be signaling recession, the travel sector is screaming “Buy me!”

Recently, United Airlines (Nasdaq: UAL) showed growth that was off the charts and remarkably strong bookings – certainly the best since the pandemic.

Theme park operator Six Flags Entertainment (NYSE: SIX) reports great crowds, and, more importantly, attendees are spending a heck of a lot more than before.

This leads us to another way of “following the money.”

Corporate insiders are backing up that positive sentiment at Six Flags, buying up millions of dollars’ worth of their own stock.

Look at this table… Does that look like a lack of confidence in the business?

Insiders aren’t right all the time, but they are right most of the time. And most of the time, they can make you a ton of money.

Action Plan: The insiders at Six Flags are saying “Buy,” and the CEO of United Airlines is saying that more people are traveling. If you put two and two together, you get four. In this case, you have the inside track, and that means you could make five!
