One trade that I really happen to like right now is Amgen (AMGN).
Alan Berro of American Funds tells Barron’s this week that Amgen’s Phase III GLP-1 drug will probably emerge as the #3 drug category in the weight-loss market, but Wall Street has yet to give it the credit that it deserves.
The benefit of Amgen’s drug is that a patient will only require a shot 4x per year, versus Lilly’s drug that requires a shot every week.
As a comparison, AMGN trades at 17x consensus P/E with a 3.5% dividend yield, while LLY yields less than 1% and trades at 33x consensus P/E.
